Terms & Conditions for Morton Lawn & Landscapes

Effective Date: May 11, 2026

By requesting a quote, booking a service, or paying an estimate fee to Morton Lawn & Landscapes, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Estimate & Consultation Fees

• A non-refundable fee of $25.00 is required for all on-site professional estimates and consultations.

• This fee must be paid in full before your appointment is confirmed on our schedule.

• At the discretion of Morton Lawn & Landscapes, this $25 fee may be applied as a credit toward the final balance of your project if the estimate is accepted and a contract is signed.

2. Property Access & Safety

• The client grants Morton Lawn & Landscapes and its employees full access to the property for the purpose of estimating or performing contracted work.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring that all pets are secured and that the work area is free of obstructions, including pet waste, toys, or outdoor furniture, prior to our arrival.

3. Underground Utilities & Obstmissions

• For all hardscaping projects (including patios and retaining walls), Morton Lawn & Landscapes will contact "Miss Utility" (811) to mark public utility lines.

• The client is responsible for identifying and marking all private underground lines, including but not limited to: irrigation systems, private electrical lines (landscape lighting), invisible dog fences, and septic components. Morton Lawn & Landscapes is not liable for damage to unmarked private lines.

4. Payments & Billing

• Payments for estimate fees and project balances are processed securely through our business management platform (Jobber).

• For larger projects, a deposit will be required to secure a start date and purchase materials. The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the project unless otherwise stated in writing.

5. Communication Consent

• By providing your contact information, you agree to receive phone calls, emails, and SMS text messages from Morton Lawn & Landscapes regarding your service requests, quotes, and billing.

• You may opt-out of SMS communications at any time by replying "STOP".

6. Modifications to Service

• Morton Lawn & Landscapes reserves the right to adjust estimates if the scope of work changes or if unforeseen site conditions (such as buried boulders or excessive bedrock) are discovered during excavation.
